Frequently asked questions about scheduling/credits/transcripts Question Answer Can I change my roster? In most cases the answer is no. However, if you are scheduled for a course that you already passed then yes, we will make that change. ·   If you are student in the Magnet program: You must get permission from the Magnet director before ANY roster change can be made. ·   If you are a student in the 9th grade SLC, AVID, Arts & Education, Health & Medical, Global Business, or ALP you must get permission from your SLC coordinator to make a change to your roster. ·   If you are requesting to get in to or out of an AP course: You must get permission from Ms. Fernandez-Vina first then you should see your respective SLC coordinator. Philadelphia Freedom Festival

Several NEHS teachers whom will be performing in the Philadelphia Freedom Festival on July 19, 2014, 8 p.m. at the Mann Music Center in Fairmount Park.  The chorus is under the direction of Dr. J. Fluellen and the Rev. Nolan Williams, Jr.  We will be performing with the Philadelphia Orchestra and Marvin Sapp.  The choir will also be performing the world premiere of a commissioned tribute to Octavius Cato by Philadelphia composer Uri Caine.   NEHS participants include, Mrs. Debbie Micheaux, Dr. Theresa Twine, Dr. Theresa Anderson, Mrs. Marnita Adams and Ms. Theresa Bramwell. NEHS Uniform Policy

Dear Parents/Guardians: To help you and your child prepare for the 2014-2015 school year, following is the mandatory uniform policy. Students must wear their uniforms on the first day of school Monday, September 8, 2014. Tops for Males and Females – Solid white, button down collar, oxford shirts, long or short sleeves ( golf/polo shirts are not permitted) – Northeast High School tie (purchased at Northeast School Store) – V- neck sweaters, vests, or cardigans (red or black with Northeast’ s logo) can be purchased at Flynn & O’Hara Uniform Center) Bottoms for Males and Females Males – Tan khaki pants (Cargo pants, work pants, “Skinny Leg” pants are unacceptable) – Pants must be secured at the waist preferably with a belt.
